Bangay + Alexander
Tone Alexander’s home in Chapmans Peak was completed in 2016. He personally designed the home and garden, which was inspired by Paul Bangay’s style, one of Australia’s leading landscape designers.
The garden is refreshing in its simplicity and order, using a limited variety of plants featuring predominantly superballs, various hedges, white Japanese Anemones and Iceberg Roses.
The house is built around the veranda, which overlooks the pool and expansive mountain view. The pool was designed with the stone plinth on which the mokoro sits. Focal areas are created using unique pieces that Tone has collected in his travels. The garden is also home to a Gin Bar, which faces the façade of the house and affords a beautiful view of the home.
